Buck 436DKBX Short Revolution TM is a patent pending hybrid fixed blade knife design. What that means is that the blade is fixed, with the tang forming a hanging clip carabineer that revolves out to be used as a clip when the blade is closed, and becomes part of the handle when the knife is open. The handles become the sheath when the knife blade is pivoted closed. It is a revolutionary design, hence the name Revolution TM. It comes with a 2-1/2" spear point 420HC partially serrated stainless steel blade. It is 6-5/8" in overall length, and weighs 2.7 oz. The Short Revolution features a anodized dark blue fading to light blue 6061 T6 Aluminum handles, with a heavy duty push button lock release.
